I describe myself as “matatag” because throughout my journey, I’ve shown strength and resilience in overcoming challenges. Whether it’s handling rejections or facing tough situations, I always strive to remain steady and focused on my goals. My experiences have taught me that persistence and determination can turn dreams into reality. In JBC, I found a place where I could grow and thrive, and I want to share that strength with my team and those who work with me.
MY JOURNEY IN JBC
JBC changed my life in so many ways. Before I joined JBC, I only used a tricycle for my trippings. There were even times when my co-manager, UM Hazel, and I had to push our tricycle when we ran out of gas. But through hard work and the opportunities JBC gave me, I now own not one but two cars. It’s something I never thought possible before.
Joining JBC gave me financial freedom and a sense of independence. More than the material changes, though, it’s the relationships that truly matter. Here, I found not just coworkers but real friends, brothers, and sisters. Even our boss treats us like family. That support helped me grow as a person and as a leader.
Starting out, I didn’t know much about real estate. I was working as a promo dizzer at SM, trying to make ends meet. I started at JBC while still working at SM, balancing both jobs to support my family. When the pandemic hit, I lost my SM job, but instead of losing hope, I turned my focus fully to real estate. That decision changed everything. Now, I’ve built a stable career in real estate and a better life for my family.
